For decades, the Royonic table was an integral part of every electronics manufacturing facility. However, with the industry's shift towards increased SMT manufacturing, this solution faded into the background.
However, the steady increase in power electronics and the resulting strong growth in demand for THT solutions has led to a significant rise in demand for simple and robust solutions that prevent picking errors and offer a quick training period.
For this reason, we used the classic Royonic table as a template for our own development. The result was the JONIC – the modern Royonic.

Jonic stands for a modern, flexible solution in through-hole assembly and is ideal for manual as well as semi-automated assembly processes. A decisive advantage is that no mechanical changeovers are necessary when changing products – this significantly reduces set-up times and increases adaptability within production. Even short-term layout changes or different assemblies can be implemented without any problems.
Thanks to its modular design, Jonic can be easily adapted to different production requirements. Whether for prototype series or medium quantities, precise and efficient assembly is carried out without any significant downtime. This allows production to be tailored to demand, which is particularly advantageous in dynamic development or small series environments.
Jonic also impresses in terms of ergonomics: its intuitive operation supports safe working, reduces error rates and noticeably improves workflow. Sensitive components can be positioned reliably – without any complex setup or time-consuming adjustments.
Another advantage is its seamless integration into existing production lines. Jonic can be easily combined with systems such as THT lines, inspection stations or soldering systems, creating a consistently efficient overall process. Jonic thus not only contributes to quality improvement, but also to a sustainable improvement in the cost-effectiveness of electronics manufacturing.
